Monday Made It FREEBIE!!

I’m linkin’ up with Tara for a little Monday Made It today.

My little miss and I have been soaking up every minute of our summer together. If you read my post on Friday you probably saw our summer schedule. We always make something on Mondays, so I thought it was just perfect to link up with Tara!

I try my very hardest to have some sort of “school” time each day since she is going into Kindergarten this year. In the words of Cara Carroll, SADSVILLE. I cannot believe my baby is already that big! Enough of my pitty party. Today, we worked on coloring, cutting, and gluing with this little book that I made real quick once I decided what we would be learning.

I just love how she makes almost everything rainbow!

First, we cut out the book and colored every page to practice coloring in the lines and not leaving any white spots! About halfway through coloring, she told me that I really needed to help her because she was just getting too tired! We will start working on stamina soon!! :)

After coloring, we practiced gluing on the dots with “dot, dot, not a lot”. We pretty much had it turned into a song before it was done! We also added some glitter to her dots!

Next up, we practiced cutting on the lines with the last page.

Once the glue was dried, I had her show off her book to Daddy as soon as he got home from work!

I will definitely use this book during the first few days of school to set my expectations with my students on these skills.

To print the book, just copy the pages above front and back on one page.

And because I totally believe in lots of play time during our summer days, we made over our nails for the 4th of July! That counts for Monday Made It too right?!?
